Re: Conversion canceled by user
One thing that I noticed from that log: You are converting to NTSC Output file: D:\Back Up Movies\Dr Stone - 01\VIDEO_TS\VTS_05_1.VOB (DVD NTSC) NTSC has 480pixel high screen Your subtitles are in picture format that has 576pixel high screen +--> [subtitle #4 - dvd_subtitle subtitle, 720x576 [Englis...

Re: How to fix ‘delayed’ subtitles
If subtitles are not made for your source file then their timing can drift off. Usually because frame rate difference but sometimes source file has been cut differently causing jumps. Only way to fix those is to use subtitle editor. Most of subtitle editors have option to define starting point and e...

Those look like way too compressed, what is total filesize?
Or better, post conversion log please.

Re: Beta testers?
If I remember correctly:
You should not save results to root of any drive, a folder is needed always, every dvd has video_ts.
DVD encoding is not supporting GFX card (HW) encoding unless VSO changed something. BR does support HW encoding.

Windows prevents running of any software that is not widely spread, simply allow (run anyway) that, close and then start again.

Re: How to burn already converted files without having to convert again
This can be used with any folder containing Video_TS, you can copy from existing DVD whole folder to computer and then from CXD select this folder to burn.

Re: Virtual Memory Low
Can not say for sure, only devs can.
But using more than 32Gb memory sizes with 32 bit program can cause problems.
Even Windows has to be 64 bit to use more than 4Gb RAM!

Might need to wait for 64bit version as that can handle huge amounts of memory. 32 bit version is limited.

Re: File size changes drastically
Conversion size is relative to many variables. Biggest is screen size. DVD has max size of 720x480 pixels NTSC / 720x576 pixels PAL If your original is in lower resolution then it has to be upscaled and file size will increase. Smaller factors are number of subtitles, sound channels etc. What are sp...

Re: Image quality: original file vs Burned DVD
You are converting from 4k to HD.
Original is 3840 × 2160 pixels and your converted file is 720 x 480 pixels.
Result is actually good conversion.

Re: Subtitle problem2
If you found subtitles separately from movie then most likely they are in different fps or even for different "cut" of movie.
Use separate subtitle editor (lot of free ones on net) to match subtitles with your video.

Cxd 5 and Win 7 - both old and unsupported.
Someone might have a trick to solve this but I doubt it as lot of subtitle issues were fixed with newer versions.

Re: Can you embed “two” different subtitles?
Embedding means adding them to video so they can not be removed anymore. You can embed several subtitles by adding one, carefully placing it, convert, then add another, place it so that it does not go on top previous one, convert. Easier way is to add subtitles that can be turned on or selected with...
