Re: Cannot convert file at all
Forward to approximately 40 minutes into the output and it's either solid black with audio or a still image with audio, I forget which. Oh I see now, I guess I missed those details if it was mentioned before. I confirm, H264 or H265 conversion does have those issues passed 30+ minutes when the orig...

I confirm that the converted H264 output of VSO UHD Converter WILL load on ConvertXtoDVD
I also confirm you lose the subtitles

Re: Cannot convert file at all
If you wish to upload it to VSO yourself, you can do it here !
Create a folder called something like "All VSO Software cannot convert this file"
Upload your video to their platform if you want: https://upload.vso-software.fr/
Username: VSO_users
Password: VSO_users

Re: Burn in subtitle
Hi, VSO UHD v1.0.0.58 is the new baseline for next software. You are right, it's missing a lot of stuff, but as I mentioned, it's a new baseline. Unsure if other outputs will be added and/or VSO will work on a 100% brand new ConvertXtoDVD. I know that in the future, Jacques mentioned their would be ...

Re: How to create simple 2 video menu DVD
Hello, I haven't use ConvertXtoDVD in a super long time, but here's a few ideas for testing :) When the DVD Starts, the menu (Main Menu) is displayed. Then each video have (may have) a menu called the root menu (If I recall). There is options to [X] skip root menu for example :) What I would do, is ...

Re: RTX 4090
Hi,
Very happy you found a working solution !
Hopefully when VSO releases new version (or new software) to convert, hardware issues will be resolved.
As mentioned earlier, nVidia did change their internal coding on latest drivers so nothing VSO can do (for now) !

Hello, ConvertXtoVideo is a 32 bit apps and is getting quite old. VSO UHD was released, fully 64bits, support 4k,8k, 12k+ ratios, all audio and video streams etc... Re: Burning Video's with .265 Audio
Hi,
I think some H265 are ok, but ConvertXtoVideo may have issues with 4k ratios, Opus audio and VP9 Video (Never tried with ConvertXtoVideo).
Without the logs and source file it's hard to see why certain files may not work and some others yes

Re: Burning Video's with .265 Audio
Hello,
VSO UHD converter has been released.
viewtopic.php?t=22454
I would use this software, convert the file to H264 / AC3 audio using the Most Compatible profile.
Then the output will be compatible to work with ConvertXtoDVD

Re: Latest updates not respecting smart copy settings
Hi, I think it's when a video has already compliant video streams, no need to encode it again, it will end up DVD compliant video again, so just copy the stream. I never saw it, used it so hard to test and comment for me :) Katia has opened an official VSO Bug, so it will be looked into when they ge...
