Thanks everybody and especially CKHOUSTON for zooming in to my problem.

Like it appeared...the problem disappeared. Suddenly i can burn, the same mkv, on the same media, with the same burner and the same options. I guess talking about a problem really helps. :)

under users/......./my documents/convertxtodvd/ is just 1 folder...the one with the name of the movie i'm trying to burn...this folder is 2.06Gb and contains menus and files for the DVD movie...ready to be burnt. is just 1 folder, because, CX2D is deleting all the working folders after the burn is c...

it was working before...not is not. it's v frustrating...please help.
