I regulary convert videos with 265 codec and no issues

If I use montherboard onboard video to view computer screen, and use seperate Nvidea Gforce video card for Hardware Decoding in ConvertXtoDVD7, does this make conversion any quicker/ more efficient?

Simply sounds like the app has lost the plot/ corrupted.
Suggest reinstall the app, using clean reinstall options.

Try using the VSO burn engine on a burner instead of the vinpower one.
Could be source videos have protection on them, or vinpower is giving false message

I have not had this issue, and I still use the program a lot.

Bad source file? Replace it with a different file

To test if the burner is faulty, you could try doing your movie on a different computer or if possible swap out the burner with another one.

To help problem solve this:

Did you have the issues with your previous dvd burner? Or only with the replacement "newish" burner?

Are they the same brand blank DVDs that you used with previous burner and also with the newish burner?

Could be some sort of hardware fault with your computer causing the issue. Has VSO seen the logs?

Rolled back to version 102 due to issues with 104. Issues are click on cut in advanced edit and then play, and nothing happens. Also app does not close, had to use ctrl/alt/ del to close app.
Any other users with these issues?

Also cannot rename tileset with this version. Reinstalled previous version and this fixed bug.

Yes the 10 sec pause at beginning is still/ always been there. Wow "DVDShrink" I have not heard of that for a long time, over 15 years ago. Was great at the time

Not sure, bd converter is very old
Maybe use rewriteable disk to test it, so nothing lost if fails

Under products old, last real update was in 2019

With Convertxtovideo I could not see a disk copy option, but Blu-Ray converter seems to plus option to copy to DVD (but will need a 3rd party decryptor).
I use dvdfab for this type of conversion
