Re: Conversion canceled by user
OK - I understand For now, I have completed the task. If I run into this issue again, I will give your suggestion a try. Any thoughts on why I keep getting the 'virtual memory low - paused'. If we assume the 'files' are damaged somehow, doesn't explain why the conversion completes. Unless ConvertXto...

Re: Conversion canceled by user
? Why do you suppose I keep getting the following message: virtual memory low - paused
Don't understand that. It seems to keep going but it happens all the time with 'these' files.

Re: Conversion canceled by user
Actually I have a write up on that: MKV Subtitle Extractor = MKVExtractGUI-2 Don’t see how that would help. I mean the subtitles work fine when I view the ‘mkv’ files on my desktop PC. If the conversion ‘fails’ with the subtitle tracks ‘within’ the mkv container, I don’t see how the conversion would...

I have had this issue before. Don't know what is causing it. TV episodes. Could be bad downloaded files. Did a conversion of some TV episodes this morning without issue. At first was getting low virtual memory. Increased same from 2048MB to 48,142MB. I do have 32 GB's of memory. Usually don't run an...

Re: How to fix ‘delayed’ subtitles
I did download from 'two' different source's. I have actually download 'three different files. I wonder if I embedded the subtitles if that would work. Might give that a try. Thanks for replying Interesting, I embedded the subtitles and it actually "worked". Subtitles are in sync. Hmm Issue resolved...

Re: How to fix ‘delayed’ subtitles
I actually already tried that, but it didn't seem to help - Subtitle-1.2.
Strange that the embedded 'foreign language' parts are in sync. Or maybe not.
Thanks for replying

How to fix ‘delayed’ subtitles
I’m going to assume that the issue is with the downloaded files. Because all my other movies come out just fine. Anyway, attached is a log of the result. I have downloaded ‘two’ different files, meaning two different ‘encoders’. The subtitle tracks play just fine on my desktop PC and 'in sync. That ...

Thanks yoyo57
That part was done! Should I try and change the "Maximum of hardware decoder instances", current set at "2"?
Thanks in advance

Re: Beta testers?
Well, it seems that it fixed itself. It would let me create a 'new' folder on the desktop, but then I would need to transfer the results to my "D" external drive. Anyway its working fine now.
This wondering about that ''Hardware decorder' thing, if any one has any suggestions.
Thanks in advance

Re: Beta testers?
Regarding v76: 1) I have always set the: General/working folder to my back up external drive D. It seems I can't do that anymore. I appears it wants to put the finished video_ts folder in "one drive", which I don't use, or desktop or create a new folder. Solutions? 2) Unrelated: I have never 'touche...

Re: Virtual Memory Low
Just an FYI - I had already ordered an additional 16gig ram stick. Plugged it in. This 32gig file "still" crashed. That's OK. I found a smaller file and was able to convert its 4 files. Those 4 files only totalled 10 gig's. I now have 32gig's of ram, don't know if it will help in conversion's going ...

Re: Virtual Memory Low
Well, 64bit, not expecting that to happen any time soon. It is what it is.
Do you suppose that if I had 32 gig's of ram that it would have worked?
Just wondering.

Virtual Memory Low
Have not encountered this before. Granted the overall file size for the ‘4’ TV episodes was large, 32 Gig’s. When the conversion process started, two files started, one was paused (virtual memory low), and the other did not start. I stopped the process, went into changing the virtual memory on my 16...

Re: Can you embed “two” different subtitles?
Just to be clear, I have “embed” subtitles many times in the past. I totally understand what that means. I’m glad that ConvertXtoDVD allows that. @JJ – Understand your suggestions. “Embed” one subtitle, convert, use one of several programs that allow you to ‘extract’ the result to an Mp4 or some suc...

Re: Can you embed “two” different subtitles?
From 'manual': Embed this subtitle into video: will "stick"/hard code the subtitles directly into the video. They will not be "removable" and they will not appear in the subtitle menu. Of course this is done on the converted result not your original video file. I have used this process many a time i...

[Solved] Can you embed “two” different subtitles?
The issue is that I have a movie that is in English, but at ‘two’ different times “two” 'other' different languages are spoken and, of course I would like to embed those subtitles. And I do have those “subtitles”.

Re: Watch Movies from USB on TV
I have done what you are talking about a number of times without issue. I have to use the 'remote' that came for the TV, "NOT" the remote from the cable company. 1) plug in usb 2) select input source - usb 3) select 'video' - play. One final point, because my HDMI 'jack' is in the back of my TV, I h...
