Re: search and skip functions in hardware players
Thank you! I'll keep checking the beta releases and give it another go if I see that issue mentioned in the notes.

Re: search and skip functions in hardware players
I burned a disc with both h.264 encoding and decoding enabled. The fast-forward worked for a second or two, and then the picture froze and it was back to the previous behavior - chapter skip works fine, fast-forward or rewind result in a paused image that can be resumed by hitting the play button.

Re: search and skip functions in hardware players
I do have an NVIDIA card, and I believe it supports CUDA. I'll double-check and if it does, I'll give it a try.Claire wrote:yes (according to our tests in 1 player here) but it will only work you do have that video card or another one (and for the others I didn't test them)
Thanks again!

Re: search and skip functions in hardware players
Cool! So, dumb question - to do that, just enable hardware h.264 encoding?Claire wrote:We reproduced the issue, we are working on it.
By the way if encoded with cuda the problem does not seem to happen, at least on our BR player.

Re: search and skip functions in hardware players
Hello, What happens when you do this with a commercial blu-ray disk (an original) in your player? It works as expected. Both fast forward and rewind work properly at each of the three speeds the player supports, and the picture accurately reflects the position in the timeline. As of version 1.0.0.4...

Re: Latest CXHD beta version - 1.0.0.41b
I'm once again having the issue that appeared to be resolved in 1.0.0.39, where fast forward and rewind do not function properly on my Sony stand-alone Blu-ray player. When I hit fast forward or rewind, the picture simply freezes as if I'd hit pause, and resumes when I hit play. Occasionally, after ...

Re: search and skip functions in hardware players
OK, I installed 1.0.0.40 and FF/REW work! Mostly. There is still one issue. Normally, when you fast forward or rewind, you can see the picture moving forward or backward at high speed. It does that very occasionally, but mostly the picture freezes on the screen. However, it does keep fast forwarding...

Re: search and skip functions in hardware players
Unfortunately, I'm seeing the same behavior using the new version. I have pasted my log below. :std_log='C:\ProgramData\VSO\ConvertXtoHD\1\Log\ConvertXtoHD 1_mainlog_.20150305.070450.941.log' :library=false :app_name=ConvertXtoHD.exe :app_version=1.0.0.39 :most_recent=first :event_header='{time} {ty...

Re: search and skip functions in hardware players
I'm having a similar issue, using version 1.0.0.37. Fast forward and rewind both cause the picture to freeze in exactly the same manner as if I'd hit pause. When I hit "play," it resumes without issue. Pause itself works fine. In my case, however, chapter skip works as expected, both forwa...
