Thank You

Changing Encoding Options does not take effects.

If I change it to "Short Project" CXD still uses "Automatic" when Converts Movies

Confirm! It changes to long project when i add several movies. But not in all prev ver of CX.
....
After converting in 2-pass, without best quality feature, 6 films on dvd9 quality is very good.

I've noticed on some of the converted projects that the audio on some episodes is kinda static. Like you can here cracks in the music or voice throughout the whole episode. Some episodes are unaffected though. And that is with mpeg audio

I'm a new user, but I have used other Brand SD converters so I am not without experience.
The problem I have is after conversion the DVD I just burned has distorted sound, namely the background sounds are very loud and the voices are not loud enough to hear when played on my Blu-Ray player attached to a HD TV, and yet this same DVD plays properly in my computer's DVD player. [SD conversions work properly no problems]

Using default settings
What I am trying to do is convert .ts High Def movies to DVD
My Windows 7 is in a HP Compaq 6005 SFF computer that works top rate on everything else I use it for.

Thanks for any help and ideas

this is the audio dynamic range compressor. it's ridiculous that it's on by default since most sources will have the audio range set appropriately.

in settings - audio - audio compression. set it to zero.

Thanks for the reply Flagpole
The audio compression was set to "0", I thought that was the default setting because I never changed anything and that's the way it is now. The sound must be being altered in the HD .ts files because the sound is the same as my thumb drive .ts file when I convert in SD---Thanks

Great job, but i have a question?

Is it possible for the next version update, for the subtitles conversion option, you could add a option for while converting the subtitles change size by the amount of letters in each line. If a line has 48 characters in case of adding three lines, it should keep two lines and decrease automatically text size to fit screen. Is it possible?

Sorry for my English.

Yes, if you put more than 50 characters for line, it would be too small. No one in is right mind would create subs with more than 40 characters for line, but it happens and then..bam, three lines in the picture.

At what point?
I tried, selected "svenska" and got "svenska" as expected.

In the finished DVD says swahiili when I chose svenska as subtitle. But in the movie is svenska so it's ok.

So on DVD player it shows swahili?
Can you test on other player how it shows there?

There is a few possibilities here, VSO might have made a mistake with language ID, or some DVD players make mistake with that one.
