How do I deinterlace my .MTS videos?

Post by angelinakalish » Wed Aug 01, 2012 5:37 pm

Hello everyone!

I downloaded the trial version of CopyToDVD yesterday and tried it out, but when I play my DVD, there are stripes in the picture as soon as there is some camera movement. I looked it up online and it seems to be interlacing lines. I want to use CopyToDVD to burn my home videos from my Canon Vixia HF camcorder to DVD, but in Blu-Ray quality (AVCHD). I tried burning the original .mts files, I copied those from my camcorder onto my harddrive. Then I started the software CopyToDVD and imported my files and created the DVD menu. Is there any way I can deinterlace my videos with this software, or does anyone know of another software that can do that? I am using Windows 7. I would really like to buy this program, I love how you can create your own DVD menu, but if my DVDs will either have interlacing lines or have to be compromised to SD quality, I will have to look for another solution. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? I would appreciate any kind of advice or help.

Kind Regards,

Are you talking about ConvertXtoDVD? (CopyTo does not make menus).
