Have successfully used PhotoDVD for several years. Upgraded from 2.9.6.1 to 3.1.0.2. Besides preview not working (see prior post), program will not save. If no changes have been made to a show (which was started under 2.9.6.1) the "Save Project yes/no" box will pop up after hitting "file - exit" or "close." But if the show has actually been edited, hitting "file - exit" or "close" immediately shuts down the program without saving edits. Using XP Professional version 2002 SP2.

Thanks hansK - I spotted that and filled it in the second and subsequent times I tried but still no joy!
The prog aven spots I have changed the file and asks if I want to save it - I answer Yes - of course - but it is not there when I go to open the file.
Thanks again

Hi,
I did some testing(4.0.0.32) and confirm that there is some problem.
Save path is not added in .vpd file.
Found that project is saved in the folder you opened as last.
Will have a talk with developer about it.

Hi Colridley,
I reproduced & fixed your problem (it seems to be a XP specific issue).
Please, can you download the last PhotoDVD beta version to check if your problem is fixed :
http://oasis.vso-software.fr/Beta/Photo ... 0.0.33.exe
Thanks to Hansk for his great help to fix this problem!
Cédric.
