Hello I am new to PhotoDVD.

Can someone please tell me which is the best to use for the highest Quality for the following.

Load image filter

Animation filter

Transition filter

I see lots listed from Linear (VSO) to SinSh (VSO) and others.

I have no idea which would make my photos look the sharpest.

There really needs to be a description next to each filter in the VSO PhotoDVD interface!

Example

Maybe you could put a number next to each filter like from 1-15.

1 being the Highest Quality and 15 being the lowest Quality!

But what ever you deside to do there really needs to be some kind of description. Because most people like me for example will have no idea what filter to use!

I will be making a PhotoDVD to view on a HDTV widescreen.

you should use Lanczos if you want the top quality

they are not sorted by quality directly, and so we can't number them. we exposed them because they are available, but the default values are already producing a good result.
filters depends on what you look and time you are ready to give to the compilation.
also, if you upscale or downscale ( depending on the resolution of the source images ) filters could be different.

but once again, if you don't want to think about it, just use Lanczos for each step ( even if Lanczos during transition is maybe over the expectation you may need for a transition rendering )
