I'm using VSO Batcher Ver 1.4.2.35. Has been working great until recently when I updated my ConvertXtoDVD program. My current ConvertXtoDVD is the most recent ver 5.3.0.24 update. Since updating to that version when I add several premade projects to VSO Batcher and press start it opens ConvertX, loads the project just like it always has; BUT then ConvertX just sits there idle and open and never starts converting the project. It just opens up the project and loads it and stops never converting the project. Normally in the past when I aborted the conversion in ConvertX VSO Batcher would load the next project and start converting with ConvertX but now it fails to do that too.

That's not the most recent version of ConvertX, there is the Beta Version 5.3.0.26, give this a try, it does actually convert using Batcher, but its hit and miss with going through the list of pre-made projects, like i said in my past post it didnt work last night, but i just tried two more conversions using some very small clips and the whole thing worked perfectly.
There is obviously a glitch somewhere but it could be difficult to find if no one is getting the same message that im getting.

But it's a beta...so, maybe the beta version has errors...thats why its a beta.
With latest stable versions of both programs...there is no error for me. Cx5 does not start the convertion. And if you start it manually, when CX5 closes...the second job never start.

Thanks Claire, I'm just reluctant to update to v29 with all the talk of lower bitrates and poor quality picture, I'm just going to get by without using batcher.

But thanks again for letting us know.

you are really missing out, the quality is so much better in 29, I've seen several test results! (fyi a new default coming in a few hours as we found a bug in the menu highlights with version 5.3.0.29)

There is a bug in 29 when you want to crop the video...the crop doesn't show in the current cropping window.

Hi, Would like to say Thank You for the continued support with this great little program. However, I have been experiencing the same issue as above with v6.0.0.23 when using the Batcher beta 1.5.2.37. Is there a work around for this as I have to physically close v6.0.0.23 before the Batcher prompts for it to re-open and begin the next conversion as it says it is already running.
Many Thanks

I'm now having the same issue as K2TBA. It started when i updated to cxtdvd 7 and downloaded the batcher compatible with it. The batcher installs and opens fine and i load in several projects as normal. The batcher opens cxtdvd 7 and gets 80% of the iso file done. Then cxtdvd closes and the batcher doesn't do anything, it just sits there.
Please can anyone help!?
