I wonder... Is it just me or someone else is having this sort of problem?
I have made two small slideshows after the birth of my grandson; one using 3.0.8.4 and another using 4.0.0.33. Clearly, the images on version 3 are in perfect and undistorted shape. In version 4 they have being shrunk vertically for some reason. I must clarify that using DVD Format 4:3, full screen this happens. Using 16:9 (Wide Screen) this doesn't happen - perhaps because the picture is shrunk both vertically and horizontally so that the result if a squared picture, is s a small piece in a huge black frame. If it's a retangle, black frames under and above the picture but full in width. Not my preferred format once "Full Screen" is available and works like a charm in version 3!
I have to add also that I have tried the newly released software in three different platforms (Windows XP, Windows Vista SP2 and Windows 7) the result, unfortunately, is the same.
If you indulge me, I would like to show you the result I am having, both with Version 3 and Version 4. I've made 1 minute slideshow using each software because otherwise they would become too large to send. Sent it to Rapidshare, once someone told me that would be the easiest server to download. Both versions are compressed inside a 60 Mb .zip file:
