La version 4 est discuté sur le forum anglais depuis plusieurs semaines, mais voici le lien pour les utilisateurs du forum francais :

parmis les nouveautés, il y a surtout une mise à jour du moteur interne qui offre de nouveaux filtres de redimensionnement de la video ( si vous voulez la meilleur qualité utilisez Lanczos )
- compatibilité complète avec Windows 7
- possibilité d'utiliser plusieurs coeurs processeur.
- nouvelle prévisualisation.

bien entendu des nouveautés seront ajoutés progressivement sur la nouvelle version.

Bonjour et merci pour votre travail !

Voici mon retour (avec log) sur cette version 4.0.5.315. Je suis sur Windows 7 Ultimate (en Espagnol).

Au moment de convertir ma vidéo j'ai le message d'erreur suivant :

Exception raised in conversion Thread with message "List index out of bounds (-1)"

J'essaie d'encoder un fichier AVI (DivX ou Xvid) avec des sous-titres (Fichiers SRT).

Lorsque je demande à convertir ma vidéo sans sous-titres tout va bien. Lorsque je demande à encoder la même vidéo avec des sous-titres en français ça va toujours bien. Par contre lorsque je demande à encoder (toujours la même vidéo), avec des sous-titres en Espagnol, là ça plante.

Vérification faite, la langue du fichier de sous-titres ne semble pas être en cause puisque sur d'autres vidéos c'est l'inverse qui se produit. (Je peux convertir en Espagnol mais pas avec le fichier en français.) Là je suis perplexe sur l'origine du problème.

J'ai installé et désinstallé proprement différentes versions de ConvertxtoDVD en nettoyant systématiquement la clé de registre mais rien n'y fait.

J'ai aussi essayé d'encoder avec des fichiers de sous-titres au format .ssa mais là c'est pire, ils sont carrément ignorés. La convertion se fait mais pas de sous-titres au final.

je suis étonné de n'obtenir que des fichiers décompressés de 2 à 2.5 G pour un fichier initial de 700 M et même lorsque je veux convertir un fichier de 1.4 G en DVD9, je n'ai en résultat que 3 à 4 G décompressés.
bien sûr avec ces résultats je n'ai plus besoin de DVD DL.
quelle est ou quelles sont les explications de ces changements par rapport à la version 3.

c'est un cas tres bien documenté, mais il nous faudrait alors le sous titre en question. vous pouvez contacter le support par email ou essayer de joindre le sous titre dans le forum en piece jointe.

Je viens d'être averti qu'une nouvelle version 4.0.9.322 était disponible, qu'y a t-il de nouveau ?

J'ai la version 4.0.6.316 et quand je veux installer la 4.0.9.322 il m'est demandé une nouvelle clé...
