problems with Fast Preview and computer crashing

I am experiencing problems with viewing any images when clicking 'fast preview'. I have uploaded the images but only get a black blank screen on previewing, also when I stop the preview my computer instantly turns itself off and re-boots. I have just upgraded to the new version 3.0.5.86 and this has happened since upgrading. Help anyone got any suggestions or also having these problems?. I am awaiting a response from VSO at the moment, however have a feeling from reading other forums this may take a while and I need to make a DVD asap!!

what version worked for you previously? I can get that to you if you would like.

Have you tried with the latest version 3.0.8.4?

Also note that you can always compile the project to your harddrive, see if that is the result you want and then go to Tools | Burn an existing compilation.
