Hello,

I tried about 15 different combinations of keywords in your search box on this site first and could not get any proper information, so please forgive me if I somehow missed a thread already covering this topic.

I have pictures of some machines and so because of their shape sometimes we have to take the pictures a bit angled so that we don't have to stand so far away that we can't show any detail...

Because of the nature of these pictures Image Resizer likes to decide to flip them portait sometimes when I am resizing them... this wouldn't be a huge deal as I could just turn them back in Windows, but it screws up my watermark as it is an image and thus the image would be sideways once I rotate them back.

I have tried every combination of setting there is and simply can not figure out how to tell it to stop turning them sideways... it isn't like it needs to do it because of the beginning or ending dimensions of the picture, so it must be basing it on the "image" itself and trying to be smart and in this case ending up being wrong sometimes.

I am using version 2.0 ... please advise how to fix this.

Thank you,

Nick

Image Resizer is using the orientation flag in the picture's EXIF data to determine if it's portrait or landscape. Maybe there's an issue with that for your images.
If you can provide me a sample file by email (see button below), I will have a look...
