Is there any way that I can remove the transition stained glass permanent.

you mean you think it looks ugly and never want it to be used?

I guess we could maybe develope something like, right clickin on that item and select 'disable this transition'

Hi polarbear,

Can you try the last PhotoDVD beta version I built to check if the new feature I added is that you wanted:

In settings windows (Imaging tab), you can see a new listbox where all available transition types are listed.
You can unchek the transition types you don't want to use for random transition (stained glass in your case).

If you have an old project with unwanted transition types:
- Open it then select all pictures in image windows "Step 1" (you can use Ctrl + A if you want)
- Use right click and select "Edit all selected pictures"
- Click on the random transition button (Transition tab, button in top)

All pictures will be set with a new random transition, without using all unwanted transition types(stained glass in your case)

Let me know if this new feature is enought...
