|
|
| I recently had to change the resolution on my LCD monitor to 120 DPI from standard 96 DPI in the display contol panel. I am running XP Pro. PhotoDVD interface doesn't display correctly at 120 DPI. Window is too large and can't be resized to view whole window. I am using current update 3.0.9.6 This is the only program I have found so far that can't deal with increased DPI. I would not call this a bug but it sure would be nice if it worked at 120 DPI. Some of us older folks need a larger display due to vision problems. |

Cedric ..
There is already a bug reported (1280x1024 res 120dpi) that shows as bad/broken display in the CD Label maker component of the program. _________________ Peace ... Bags. |

Cedric,
Much improved. It is now usable. You have to reposition start screen to get to window icon in upper corner, after selection you then have almost whole screen.Cuts off on right side alittle. Example part of close button cutoff but now selectable same for preview screen. Also have found the "about" box under help menu is too long to read you can only see version #. Thanks |

Cedric ...
What he means is that the program window has to be dragged across and the window resized (smaller) with the maximise button to correctly fill the display screen (using 120 dpi)
It is oversize at 120dpi on display res. of 1280x1024. "about" screen is ok at this res.
I assume 2seniors display is same, too! His "about" screen is probably too tall at his res. (1024x768) and gets cropped!
He should check that the resolution is correctly set as advised for his screen, or he could have problems like this. (doesn't look high enough for flat screen to me) _________________ Peace ... Bags. |
