There only seems to be 1 Transition mode in PhotoDVD and thats "fade" affect.
Are you planning on adding a lot more in the near future?
For example "Windows Live Movie Maker" has over 60 cool looking Transitions!
I really would like this for VSO PhotoDVD! |

| IMO the attention must be the displayed pictures, not the transition effects. |

And you have a right to your opinion 
But me and a lot of other users would like more then one transition to pick from.
How would it hurt the software if there more more transitions to pick from? No one would be forcing you to use any of the new ones. |

I agree there could be a few more .. but I doubt there are hundreds of peoiple wanting this.
However .. Hans is also correct. I think the animation of the slide is more important however.
Windows Movie Maker is not cool, nor are its effects. NeroVision is also guilty
of too much concentration on effects.

Hi ,
I just started using PhotoDVD 4 and I am very happy to see that you added quite a few new transitions . Its great to finally have more then 1 fade affect to choose from. I will be buying PhotoDVD 4 today.
Also if you can I would love if you could add just a few more transitions from "Windows Live Movie Maker". Like the Heart, Keyhole, Eye, Star, Stars, Wheel, Flip, Iris, Roll, Shrink In, Spin , Shatter in, Shatter Right, Shatter Top-Left, Shatter Top-Right, Page Curl, Sweep up, and Whirlwind.
Please have a look at "Windows Live Movie Maker" to see all the transitions I am talking about. If you could add these transitions to PhotoDVD 4 it would be kick ass!!!
And last can you add an option to PhotoDVD 4 for making the Pictures look like a "drawing" like art? "Windows Live Movie Maker" has this and its called "Edge Detection".
Again thanks for adding more transitions to PhotoDVD 4! |

| well, what is the point to redo something another freeware in windows is doing already. PhotoDVD was nice for the classy effect it could product, but when I saw the version 4, my eyes were burning ! I hate the colorful / chinese style of that new version. I am not a buyer of the new transitions, but it is pretty cool to see the YouTube export ( even if I didn't test it yet ) |
