They are in PAL but you still can use them in NTSC too.
If I'm not mistaken all backgrounds in ConvertX are 720 X 576 (PAL).

I still have about 400 more animated backgrounds which I shall upload in time.

That's something I just found out about. How is it that all of the backgrounds in ConvertXtoDVD are in PAL format? I don't understand that. They do all work tho. I guess it just matters how it converts, huh? Also, I tried to modify a template to work for wide screen. I changed the width and height to 920 x 540 and converted a short movie but it came out square. That sucks cuz I plan on buying a wide screen and writing BluRays. Looks like I'll have to use a different program for that. Sucks I paid 50 bucks for something I'm not gonna use very much longer. Or hopefully VSO will add support for widescreen conversions.

Yes, you will notice the stretched menu. However it is not much of an inconvenience since a menu is only used for a few seconds.
I still have the 4:3 format on my home TV sets. I prefair to keep the CRT tubes for as long as it is possible. I have the wide format on the portable DVD player

Menus are currently rendered only in 4:3 aspect although the author has hinted that may change someday.

So 4:3 backgrounds will display without distortion on 4:3 TVs but distorted on 16:9 TVs unless the TV aspect is changed with the TV remote. 16:9 backgrounds will be distorted on 4:3 sets but not on 16:9. Backgrounds with other aspects will be distorted on both since the background is not letterboxed to either 4:3 or 16:9 during rendering - http://forums.vso-software.fr/preventin ... t9316.html

16:9 menu creations are on the low priority to-do list, although it is already available in PhotoDVD (still not perfect). I think it might be done at the same time with menu editor creation.

If you really want 16:9 menu, you can prepare 16:9 background and let CXD creates 4:3 menu. Then use third party tools to fix it into 16:9 menu and replace it back into the original 4:3 menu. Sounds easy but it can be tedious.

Hi ckhouston, old friend. I taught that since these are not templates, it will not be fitting to post there. However since you are of the opinion, I shall submit a link there.

The pictures looks great. Any chance of hosting the backgrounds elsewhere since MegaUpload has been taken down?

Thanks in advance.
