Despite the settings being set to only reduce to specified resolution and that the resulting images (JPGs) are indeed resized their sizes increase across the selection (~140 images), the images are all about the same size ~3Mb and about 4000x4000 in pixels. The first comes down to about 500K the last one in the list ends up ~7Mb, when opening them up they are all at the correct res, 1900x1900 (aspect ratio is kept so either x or y will be one of those dimensions). I should point out that I am doing an overwrite to create the new files. Any idea why its doing this? I am resizing the images via the explorer right click to select an entire folder but even when i pick a sub-selection of the images and again right click->vso image resizer, the result is the same, the first image is nice and small in terms of Kb, the last is much much larger. I will experiment with not overwriting the originals and see if the issue continues.

Thanks,

John

Seems that it's related to whether or not i select the 'copy EXIF information', if i leave 'copy EXIF information' unselected the resultant files are all smaller and do not progressively get larger.

Which version of Image Resizer are you using? Can you post the log, at least the beginning with all the options?
