I don't see how you could select a menu but CX2D open an entirely different menu template, unless perhaps you did something wrong and CX2D is defaulting back to the last working template you used.

Did you paste the extracted '16-9 iMDB' template folder into CX2D's templates folder? When you open the '16-9 iMDB' folder does it contain the following folders and files?

'Ratings' folder
'Stars' folder
16-9_iMDB_BG.png
16-9_iMDb_BG.psd
16-9_iMDB-1.ini
16-9_iMDB-2.ini
16-9_iMDB-3.ini
16-9_iMDB-4.ini
Background.jpg
LCALLIG.TTF
Menu_iMDB.jpg
Select-C.gif
Thumb-C.png
Thumb-T.png
verdana.ttf
verdanab.ttf

If your folder is setup as above it should work after selecting one of them in CX2D's DVD menu tab.

Keep in mind after extracting the downloaded files, you should end up with a single folder titled '16-9 iMDB' which should contain above mentioned files when opened.

Files you mentioned above are completely different from the extracted files
I downloaded those: http://forums.vso-software.fr/tattoo-s-imdb-menu-templates-t13712.html

You downloaded and extracted 'iMDB.part1.rar' & i'MDB.part2.rar' from the following link correct?
http://forums.vso-software.fr/extra-unofficial-menu-templates-available-for-download-t6947-220.html#p68157

If yours are different, you downloaded wrong files, extracted wrong or something. Did you at least end up with the main folder titled '16-9 iMDB'? If not, what is your extracted folders name. Also, what are the names of the files in it, since different from ones I previously listed?

My bad, didn't realize you were using Tattoo's old iMDB version. However, the files inside the extracted folder should still be similar. You should have these files once extracted. If not, you have still done something wrong.

Ratings folder
Stars folder
iMDB_Background_4-3.png
iMDB_Background_16-9.png
iMDB_Movie_image.png
Menu11.jpg
Tattoo11.ini
Tattoo12.ini
verdana.ttf
verdanab.ttf

These files need to be placed inside the 'Tattoo' folder that should already be in CX2D's template folder. You have to install Tattoo's 'Tattoo' templates before this one as those iMDB files need to be added to the Tattoo folder. Tattoo templates are downloadable from page 12(same page as iMDB you linked to) if you haven't downloaded and installed them already.

Unless you need the 4:3 aspect iMDB I would suggest downloading and using the newer ones. You can find them at link below on first page, 2nd from last post on page.

Also, you really should have posted a new thread in the main CX2D4 forum instead of here. This thread is supposed to be for posting templates only. You have already posted it now, but in the future I'm sure moderators would appreciate it if next time you have any problems post in main program forum. Not a big deal since many of us, including myself, have over-posted here, but just thought I'd mention it.

It would be over the size limit restriction here on forum, that's why Tattoo had to split it up when he posted it. I can send it to you by email if you want to PM me your address.

Which version of it were you wanting me to send? The older one you posted about or the newer version I mentioned in my previous post?

URGENT!

This message is directed to the user, Tattoo.

I have to say that your work is very impressive. Keep up with the good work! I just created an account to ask for your help because I think I have a problem with your templates. The problem is that I can't upload a picture next to the plot synopsis in the root page because there is no thumbnail option available for each root menu under 'titleset menu parameters'. It seems that the thumbnail option has been replaced with two background image options (1. background image for root menu and 2. background video/image for root menu). I tried both options and the picture gets used as a background rather than as a thumbnail. For your information, I downloaded these templates:

16-9_01.ini = 16:9_01 (DVD Image-Text)
16-9_02.ini = 16:9_02 (DVD Image-Text-Multiple)
16-9_03.ini = 16:9_03 (DVD Image-Text-No Mirrror)
16-9_04.ini = 16:9_04 (DVD Image-Text-Multiple-No Mirrror)
16-9_05.ini = 16:9_05 (Video-Text)
16-9_06.ini = 16:9_06 (Video-Text-Multiple)
16-9_07.ini = 16:9_07 (Video-Text-No Mirrror)
16-9_08.ini = 16:9_08 (Video-Text-Multiple-No Mirrror)
16-9_09.ini = 16:9_09 (DVD Image-Text-Animated)
16-9_11.ini = 16:9_10 (DVD Image-Text-Animated-Multiple)
16-9_10.ini = 16:9_11 (DVD Image-Text-Animated-No Mirror)
16-9_12.ini = 16:9_12 (DVD Image-Text-Animated-Multiple-No Mirror)

16-9_DF-1.ini = 16:9_DF-1 (Double Feature)
16-9_DF-2.ini = 16:9_DF-2 (Double Feature-No Mirror)
16-9_DF-3.ini = 16:9_DF-3 (Double Feature-Full)
16-9_DF-4.ini = 16:9_DF-4 (Double Feature-Full-No Mirror)
16-9_DF-5.ini = 16:9_DF-5 (Double Feature-Full-Multiple)
16-9_DF-6.ini = 16:9_DF-6 (Double Feature-Full-Multiple-No Mirror)
16-9_DF-7.ini = 16:9_DF-7 (Double Feature-2)

16-9_TF-1.ini = 16:9_TF-1 (Triple Feature)
16-9_TF-2.ini = 16:9_TF-2 (Triple Feature-No Mirror)
16-9_TF-3.ini = 16:9_TF-3 (Triple Feature)
16-9_TF-4.ini = 16:9_TF-4 (Triple Feature-No Mirror)

I use the 16:9_DF-5 (Double Feature-Full-Multiple) template because I like to have access to Settings, Chapters, Play, and Home. I have no problem uploading pictures as thumbnails in the Menu page but it doesn't work in Root pages. It'll be great if you can please let me know how to fix this problem and I apologise if I have confused you.

P.S. Is it possible to justify the synopsis text where the text gets aligned to both left and right margins (like in Microsoft Word Document)? I know there are five settings (e.g. evenly distributed text, top line wider, end of line word wrapping etc) but I don't like these options because they make the texts look out of alignment. Lastly, what does 'no mirror' mean? I'll greatly appreciate for your help, Tattoo.

Many thanks and I look forward to your reply!
