[Solved] Error: No writers found....

I have a Lite-On IHAS224 DVD Burner and keep getting the "Critical" error message: No writers found on this system. Can't continue. There are no Upper of Lower Filters in the Registry and the system shows that all of the drivers are current. The burner was just installed. The burner goes thru the motions as if it's burning, but nothing transfers onto the disc. Help, pleeeeease!!!

can you try and burn with imgburn?

Thanks so much Claire, downloading the Img software solved my problem. I really appreciate your help. After trying several packages that were useless, your suggestion worked wonderfully. Thanks again.

the point was not really to tell you to use other software to solve the problem, but we know now that the problem is not with your hardware or configuration but with our software.

Can you post the CopyToDVD log file and the ImgBurn log file?

And that is a really old version of CopyToDVD you have there, I suggest updating.
