Dual Layer Burning

Postby shankly769 » Thu Sep 15, 2011 1:35 pm

Hello, using convert x to convert avi to DVD is fun with this SW,but when u come to burning the files,is annoying, but i don't think it is a problem with this SW,all im saying is this,

i had an 8 episode conversion, ready for burning,to have the best performance i converted them to a DVD 9 format,so i needed a dl DVD,i already lost 5 copies, because,i used convertx burner,a shampoo 9,Nero 7, and image burn, all gave me error in 98 percent time, but i had 1 copy with ashampoo, then tried another 1 but gave me error,

im uploading an image of what convertx told me,

Can i split in 4 episodes each, and can i see the menu image in disc 2?or i have to inserted again.do i have to convert again?its already a converted project,

hope u understand what i said, please help? if you can :)

after these tries i burnt a normal 4.7 dvd file, and was successful, obviously not with the same media,re the Mechanical issiue, cant understand because this is not the first time i burnt a DL,not with this media, and as i said up here i had 1 already good, then the rest went wrong,

If you have failures with several programs then
-your burner is faulty and just can't produce good burn to DL
-your burner can't handle that media, firmware update needed
-you are using bad media and/or burning too fast

The one described in the first post in this forum that jj suggested you read. It's the Announcement sticky that says to read it before posting. FYI, virtually all forums have a sticky at the top that tells new forum members to read it because it provides important information about forum rules, forum expectations, and what information is required if someone is seeking help.
