at least it is not something we have changed and even if it is the case, is it causing an issue with your dvd player or any application on the PC ?

Hi!
I think so, that my problem with your new version is improper detection of estimated framerate from the source file. I'm sending you 4 examples.
Example 1 was made from working vesrsion ConvertxtoDVD 3.5.2.137 (Estimated framerate is 25, whitch is correct).
Exaple 2 (Made form your new version) has Estimated framerate 5.625, which is totaly incorrect) and the result of the conversion with this new version are diapositves.
Examle 3 was made by version ConvertxtoDVD 3.5.2.137 (film Babysitter wanted) and the framerate is correct (25). Example 4 was made by your new version and the estimated frame rate from source file is 22,20. This value is absolutely incorrect.

I sent it yesterday afternoon. I sent all the files of Primorska via your program. I sent the post to Fonzzie31 (see page 4).
The main problem is that, if I import film via the ifo, that, the framnerates are not OK. I asked before, for your snail adress (taht I can send you the whole DVD).
Yesterday I send you these files:
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.VOB
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB
VTS_01_3.VOB
But I think so, that maybe some of theese files yoiu did'nt receive.
So I ask you to send me the adress (Snail , not internet), and I shall send you the workin copy o origiumall DVD.

Hello I uninstalled the beta and installed the update on the main site. Even though vso scaler.dll is no longer required, the program still looks for it.

When I go to Help > About

vso scaler.dll is still on the list and says file not found. Why is it still on the list if it's no longer required?

vsoscaler is still in the list of the about box, for people which still have the file, but I don't think there is bad consequence if the file isn't here.

about sending with a snail mail the copy of DVD , no problem, you have our adress on the web site here :

http://www.vso-software.fr/contact.php

if we have received the file, we will look at the issue Monday ( when Fonzzie / Lionel will be back at work in the office )

Hi naytun,

Download latest version of ConvertXtoDVD for best result. See its history.txt, what has been changed/improved/fixed.

Download the ConvertXtoDVD v3 manual (rev.5), install and read it.

Read the topic "Create / customize / convert and burn Guides" in the manual how to put more than 1 movie on one DVD.

Read this link at forum about how much will fit on a DVD:
http://forums.vso-software.fr/how-many-avi-without-losing-quality-t7894.html

Regards,
hansK

The conversion seems to work fine but the program is still looking for it even though I uninstalled the previous beta version.

it has been mentionned at the beginning of the thread. this version isn't optimized for multicore.
despite it is using only 20% of the core, is the result faster than previous version or not ?
