Leider nicht für with the TV pack 2008 sondern nur für windows 7
meiner meinung nach unnötig da windows 7 einen eingebauten wtv converter an bord hat.

It does not work. I am running Windows Vista, and when I try to convert the files, this is what it says:
WTV version for Windows 7
Your version of Windows doesn't have the WTV converter Program.
I tried converting with every possible solution in the software...it just doesn't work.

| ok it seems there are some files missing, I don't know if it would work if we copy the files from windows 7 distribution.

the tool works perfectly and really quick on my win7 netbook.
but why is it ...setup.exe?
it does not install but run and convert.
afterwards win7 asks whether the installation process has succeeded.
what is the difference between dvr-ms and dvd mode?
both create a dvr-ms file ...
it would be nice, if the text box (showing the file name and conversion mode?) would show more than one line ...
but nice tool so far :)
best regards
Thomas

yes, you are right, it is not an installer yet.
the difference between dvr-ms and dvd mode, is the fact the DVD mode will launch as a batch ConvertXtoDVD to make a DVD from the .WTV file ( even if the intermediate format is dvr-ms )

great features would be:
1. delete original file once converted
2. Batch Conversion
3. Automatically convert newly recorded TV
4. MCE Integration
thanks for the great app it cuts all my wtv files in half
