Burning problem - Burning is slow

If you are having burning issues, and it takes a long time to burn, check your log file !

If you see this in your log:

10/4/2007 11:22:09 PM info PIO Mode

Then you need to Enable DMA:
For VISTA
For XP
For Windows 7

For RAID and AHC1 drive configurations
You do not need to try and force DMA as you probably will not be able to this thread

Changing to DMA mode on Windows 7-cant

Postby magrurry » Tue Aug 14, 2012 4:44 pm

Ok i need to change the program BACK to DMA but when i follow instructions i get to a dead end;
i see the IDA ATA/ATAPI controller in the device manager. when i expand it i see the driver
Intel(R) 7 Series/C216 Chopset Family SATA AHCI Controller
i click Properties and i see info about it, but no place i can check or un-check DMA mode
and i see nothing labeled "Channel" when i right click it i see tabs for General-Driver-Details-Reources
none of which i can really change
