Either I don't know what phrase to search for or this is going to some sort of user error I don't understand but any clues would be appreciated. Also, I know I'm not a paid user of convertxtodvd so if that is a requirement just delete this and I'll keep looking on my own. I am pretty new to this video stuff so probably user error.

My problem concerns color hue when converting to dvd (such as source xxx.flv, xxx.mpg - mpg-2 files) As example using a clip taken from a public broadcast system .flv video of good quality - in unaltered state colors look good on both computer monitor and tv. Run it through convertx and the output colors are off. The caucasian people suddenly all have sun burns and the sunlit backgrounds have what I call blown out highlights (brighter than original and many details missing) . It is like the colors have been 'punched up' too far.

I have tried various resize filters as well as using vsoclean and reintalling. I have also tried some other settings changes with no change in output. I've read and searched everywhere I can think of with no results. My video card drivers are current and the output looks the same when burned to a dvd and played on a tv (which indicates to me it's not a computer video driver problem). I just do not know where to look or what phrase to search for and would appreciate any ideas or suggestions even if this is normal behavior for the convertx trial version so I know to quit messing with it. I am including the log file from a little video clip I've been using to test this issue and if any other information will help I'd be happy to do so.

I have had no such problems with full version.
Actually trial converted fine too, but it adds watermark.
