Hey guys!

Congrats to cmsoft for such a nice app Wink

BatchXtoDVD works wonders with me except one thing. The "Create ISO" option in settings doesn't seem to be working. I have it activated (i clicked the save settings btn as well), I also have the option to burn the final project to ISO in ConvertXtoDVD settings as well... But at the end I only get a AUDIO_TS an a VIDEO_TS folder and no ISO file.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

Hmm - the ISO should be in the same folder as your working folder - so, for example, if you were converting an avi called mymovie.avi, and your working folder was C:\DVDs then you SHOULD have:-

C:\DVDs\mymovie.iso (file)

C:\DVDs\mymovie\AUDIO_TS (folder)
C:\DVDs\mymovie\VIDEO_TS (folder)

Hi..

Well the thing is I don't... I only have an AUDIO_TS and an VIDEO_TS folder... no ISO at all...

If I convert the video directly in ConvertXtoDVD without using your batch app then it does create and ISO

Strange...

OK - I have resolved the issue as of v0.0.0.24 (out later today) - HOWEVER, since fixing this, I have found a bug in ConvertXtoDVD - if burning to an ISO, the program will not automatically close after a successful conversion, so until VSO fix this, using the CreateISO option will not work properly because the first job in the queue does not finish properly.

I would say that it probably won't work - from my testing, I have found that ConvertXtoDVD does NOT close after creating the ISO, even if you tell it to - therefore, BatchXtoDVD will start the first job in the queue, but will not proceed to the second until ConvertXtoDVD closes.

Your only option at the moment is to NOT create the ISO, but to just burn the files to DVD.

I'm Running XP Pro SP3 .Net 2.0
ConvertX 3.1.3.40

I don't know if this has to do with my DVD burner being disconnected at the moment but here's the message I get when I run BatchToXDVD.

Hi, I am using Cx2D 3.2.9.94 and Bx2D 0.0.0.24 I registered to the forums just to make this post.

First, Thank you for you work Smile

Second, I think the following features would be very useful:

1) Allow multiple instances of Cx2D. (many people use multi core processors, and having only 1 conversion going will not fully use all cores.)

2) Be able to queue more than 1 multiple-file set.

I'm working on some updates and some new features at the moment, so I'll see what I can do, but it may be that these get implemented in a couple of releases time.... Best thing you can do, is put in a feature request at http://bugs.cmsoft.co.uk

Firstly a huge THANKS for this app cmsoft. Very Happy
Secondly I was wondering if you are a VSO employee? If not I would like the chance to make a small donation to you(paypal etc.) as reward for a great app that greatly enhances X2D.
Over the years other people have designed scripts, software and FF addons that have become worth their weight in gold and i've helped them. Therefore I think its only fair I say thanks and send a donation as thanks for their hard work and dedication.
So please leave your paypal info or some other way(unless u are on VSO's books then you will just have to settle for my heartfelt thanks.

I haven't abandoned it. My 6 year old son has had a couple of months in hospital after being severly unwell. On top of that, in order to keep my job I'm updating some of my Microsoft exams...

But - I am still here, I still peruse the forums, and I shall not cease development all the while VSO keep making such a fine program Cool
